Immeasurably More
We had a very busy summer. As usual I did not accomplish near the projects that I had on my list. We started back
our homeschool earlier this year to try more of a year round schedule. It takes a lot of time to educate the children,
which mean extra projects do not usually get accomplished during that time. It is worth it though and those projects
won't go away. We only have one chance with our children and it is now.
We have so much going
on right now other than school. We have 2 big decisions to make we know God has called us to do. One we are excited
about - the other we get sick to our stomachs when we think about it. I keep reminding myself that to those whom much
is given much is expected. Following God is not always the easiest choice, but I know by experience it is the best.
I was sharing all my worries and fears with the Lord this morning and then started my Bible Study and this is the first thing
I read: "to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work
within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever!"
God reminded me of a few things with this verse: 1. He can do way more than I can imagine and He has done it for me
before. So I need to quit worrying and trust Him.
2. I have His power at work within me to help me with the
difficult assignments - that was what enabled me to write "Sink or Walk On Water."
3. Trusting
and obeying Him, even though I do not understand why He is asking what He is, will bring Glory to Him and may even be a witness
for Him.
I know being in His will is the best place to be because He sees the future and I don't.
What I don't understand right now will make perfect sense some time in the future and we will be glad we chose to trust
and obey.
Staying the Narrow path, have a blessed day!
